Carphone Warehouse Cashback Question

HI

I have a 12 month contract with 02 through the Carphone Warehouse with the '12 months free' cashback scheme... I have done cashbacks before but many moons ago!

My contract started on 11 Sept 07, my first bill came dated 21 Sept 07... my first cashback claim is due when I have been connected for 4 months which around now.

I have phoned the customer service line to clarify which bill I need to send & she was a bit vague.. she said I need to send the bill dated 21 Dec.. I calculate that been connected approx. 3.5 months but is this the right bill to send?

I dont want to miss out on the cashback.

Hi,

CPW are quite nice and write the bill number at the top right of each of their bills. I send in bills 4, 8 and 12 without any problems.

PS - The cashback address has recently changed (I think it's now in Southampton), so please make sure you send it to the correct address, since the documentation that comes with my phone gave the old details. New ones can be found on the CPW website.

Thanks, i'l check on the bill number of december's bill when I get home... the e2save cashback claims address I have is in Crewe is this correct?

You aren't with cpw but E2Save. You're in for probloems. You should never do a cashback deal with understanding it first and keeping up to date - there's an enormous amount that's happened there in recent months. Read post 5 on:-

follow "bill numbers" or what they've told you and you'll be in danger, although provided they stick with their way of doing things (as opposed the the t&c you did, in fact, sign up to) the December bill will work provided it gets there after 11th January and before it's 28 days old. The t&c are in fact quite clear and I think my post (above) is too. You have a lot of reading to do - there are many threads on here about this lot now. The above thread contains much of what you should have (but haven't done) too.
