obviously this will need log on details, so traceable, but funny how one of the biggest BB providers are actually promoting " piggy backing" someones wireless connection

Fon is slightly different, it actually works as 2 SSID's, one for your use, and one for the public side. They are separated and the public side cannot connect to the private side. Fon users have to enter their user ID and password to logon to a Fon network, and thus as such there is complete traceability of what that user is / has been doing, and if you live in a popular area, it can be a nice little earner.
On the subject of the OP, I'd get WPA on your access point, change your passwords for the router, and any other passwords that you might have recieved / entered into unsecured sites. If he's out there during the day, nothing to say he's not outside later on when your using the wireless yourself.
