Fridge makes noises

Im a student and our University has given us all fridges for our rooms, to stop us bringing in our own and shorting out the power... When ever mine starts to cool down, as it does about once every 45 mins, it starts squeeking and making cracking noises and little knocks. I suspect this is surely the tiny freezer department…

Turned fridge off last night and let all the ice melt. Cleared all the excess water out this morning and fridge seems to be running fine now, lacking the noises. However I suspect they may start again as the ice begins building up.

But for now the frogs are gone

Never knock on death's door, ring the doorbell and run away ..... he hates that :mad:
