Removing Orange Welcome Screen

If I remember correcttly, it's menu, settings, phone settings then welcome note, Basically just type anything in there and when you next resart it will show what you have typed.
Or I think it does
haven't had a 6210 for around 3 years so I maybe wrong about the options. The menus are pretty standard so even if I'm wrong, you should be able to chage the welcome screen through phone settings Welcome, rogerramjet.

if youmean the start up logos which is part of the orange branding, you can only remove this by getting the phone reflashed. if done with the latest s/w it will also fix any bugs nokia have found0

Thanks, that seems to have done it.Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.0 -
That is only a temporary fix. When you entered stuff into the welcome note, the phone displays this instead of the orange logo. As soon as you delete that welcome note, the orange logo will re-appear.Holiday wrote:Thanks, that seems to have done it.
drahcir is correct that it is a software flash removes it permanently.0 -
Your other option is to get logomanager, a serial cable for the phone or a infra red adapter. you can then upload your own start up images, ringtones, pictures, manage your tel numbers, etc. It's also really hand to sent texts using this program as you basically type the text on your computer keyboard and then send via the phone

I used to be subscribed to the nokia newsgroups and the chap that produced this software used post on there giving support to people who used his software
