l phoned my local store and they said "call customer service" l told a lie and said "l emailed them and they sent standard reply either send back or contract local store, l said l brought it for a birthday present" :T guy on phone said "bring it in and we will replace it with new one" also checked with him that they have it in stock WOOOW keeping me one and off to collect it tomorrow

I hope everyone that wanted the game got a new sealed one! and the people who want to make profit by selling it on got a used one!!

I do sympathise for those who actually do want the game and got a used one but for a fiver you really can't moan. You'll end up paying more in travel/phone calls/time if you try to change it for a new one. Be glad you got the offer!

And I hope yu all enjoy the game

I agree though it's mainly the principle.

I noticed the ganky sticker mark on one of mine matches a pre-owned sticker on one of my other games.

You could buy it brand new for £4.99 + £1 P&P or you could buy it pre-owned for £1.99 with any other xbox 360 game over a fiver.

I'd have bought something else and the pre-owned copy if I'd known.

Please, Please, Please, I was not saying you or anyone in particular had the intention to resell. In fact I stated that I sympathise with you guys that were sold a new game for a fiver and got a preowned game. I just stated that I hope that those who intended to resell got preowned ones. I also would have loved it if all you guys that actually wanted the game got a new one.

It was only a statement as I was unable to get this offer (too late) and there probably was a fair few people who bought it with the intention to resell at a higher price. Please, I appologise if i worded it wrong, i'm tired.

Well my son's game turned up today. It wasn't sealed and though there are no obviously bad scratches on it there are a couple of slight marks.

I will leave it up to my son to decide if he thinks its a preowned one before I make the complaint.

£4.99 is a very good price but the idea of buying something new and getting a used one is annoying me too especially as I did see that £1.99 offer and was going to go for that one and get him an extra game until I changed my mind.

Has anybody that has emailed them about it got a reply yet?
