  • OMG - I hired a rug doc (although a few yrs ago now) and I loved it so much I wanted to buy one. I only wanted it for my lounge but I ended up doing the whole house and our cars. I had no idea about the credit check thing or anything. We had to pay a £100 deposit which is returned when you bring it back, and then also the detergents (because I guess for a money making scheme they say you can only use theirs but really you can use any detergent that is non-foaming). All in all I spent around £40 but to me it was worth it. Very noisy equipment though.

I had no idea at all or even thought to check the details of the hire agreement. Wow. Thanks Buzby!
  • Dont use a Rug doctor, wet carpet for days mould and mildew can start to grow leaving a smelly carpet also they use resoiling chemicals (dirt sticks to to residue they leave behind)
