PAC code and CPW

I have an o2 contract via CPW it isn't a cashback deal as such, it was a retention deal from 13 months ago.

Decided that as my 12 month contract was up I would cancel contract and get my Pac code and go elsewhere as I am not happy remaining with CPW. However it is becoming a nightmare and I am spending hours of the phone and being lied to all the time. Finally got through last week and was reluctantly sold an upgrade (that was a big mistake!). phone due for delivery this morning. No phone arrived and so I have been on the phone now for almost 3 hours finding out what the problem is..

I have been passed from one department to another and every person tells me something different. It seems I cannot reject the upgrade now as the phone has not been returned to them and they warn me I only have a certain number of days to do that..but don't seem to understand that the phone is not here. A couple of people have told me that phone will arrive tomorrow, guaranteed, yet others have said Wednesday as it is still in the warehouse and one thought it was lost in the system.

I have tried cancelling the upgrade and getting a PIN but they say CPW do not allow phone cancellations and must have the request for a PAC in writing, I ask for the address and get put through to another number where I am hung up on.

I just got through to someone else and explained the problem and he said he would try and sort it out, and literally 2 minutes ago having been on hold for 15 minutes I've been cut off.

What do I do now, I want to cancel my existing contract and I want to reject the upgrade and I want my PAC code. My sanity will not allow me to spend another 3 hours waiting on the phone just to get cut off again and I am boiling mad here.

    Hi,

Best thing to do is contact Charles Dunstone's Office where one of his colleagues will flag a complaint with one of the area managers. I have their telephone numbers. PM me and I will send you the details. This is really the only way to get them to do their jobs. Half the time contacting Customer Services is a complete waste of time. You will never get any consensus between different staff members that's why I never call them. I only call the senior managers directly. This doesn't apply to CPW only, several other retailers have this problem.
