I opened a tin of hot dog sausages last night and want to use them up in a recipe of some kind if anyone would so kind as to share one, pretty please?
I'm only feeding two but its our main meal of the day.:wave:0 -
I've got a recipe thats like a tortilla wrap done in the sandwich toaster..any good??
Hot Dog Wraps *from the Toastie Heaven recipe book*
1/2 tsp sunflower oil
1/2 red onion sliced
1 clove garlic crushed
1/2 tspn relish
1 large tortilla
1/2 tsp english mustard
sausage/hotdogs sliced
Heat oil and cook onion and garlic,remove and stir in relish.
brush Sandwich toaster with oil and preheat.
Trim tortilla to 25cm x 13cm so it fits toaster and can be folded over filling.
Spread with mustard add sausage and onion etc.
Brush rim with water and seal.
Transfer to toaster and cook for 4 mins til golden brown0 -

Chop into diagonal slices, fry in hot oil with some garlic to get some colour. Add a tin of chopped toms, some herbs and serve over spaghetti, pasta, noodles or rice.
You could add some peas or broccoli if you have it.

chop them up with fresh chilli .. add some dark soy sauce and some white wine vingar and a spoonfull of sugar then add to noodles and you can have a sausage chilli noodles

Right now my mouth is watering at the thought of a sort of Spanish omelette made with the HD sausages. Thanks for the ideas,, there's a bit of most of them in a spanish om!:wave:0
