Three contract re-negotiation
Hi,
I just came to the end of my 12-month contract with 3, was paying £25 per month for 500 x-network minutes. I guess many others must be coming to end of 3 contracts as well, as they signed up loads of customers in 2004.
My question is, what are the best renewal deals people have been offered by 3? I can tolerate their service quality, and don't fancy the hassle of moving networks if I can get a good renewal offer.
They have so far offered me £20 pm for 100 minutes and 100 texts (I don't need lots of minutes anyway), with 5 months half price (negotiated up from 3 mths), on a 12 month contract with a free Nokia 8860.
Is this a good deal? Has anyone else been offered more? Would I be able to get a much better deal elsewhere as a new customer?
Thanks!
(The 'batter down your contract' thread mainly deals with Orange and o2 customers -- apols if I have missed a thread that already deals with this.)

Thanks rabialiones -- the cheapest ones seem to be with cashback, which I don't fancy (v disorganized, might forget). Are there any cheap new contract offers without cashback?0

Is it really THAT hard to write down a set of 3 dates on a calendar of when to send off your bill summary to comapny XYZ?
It's quite something to 'forget' to do so when you can save so much money. Spend a £1 and get a decent diary, or put in reminders on your phone - not to hard0
