My last post stayed in the comments box as well as posting. When I tried again, I got the 'Body is required' message.
After reading another thread in my Bookmarks, I returned here and the comments box was clear.
I will attempt to set out the problems on my PC but not accessible at the moment.
I'm now going to try my username to see if it still locks after I've removed the duplicate. If that happens, I can't type anything else after the bolded username.

Still not working properly for me on my phone whether I add username or not. Username did lock as anticipated.

It's posting more quickly now but still leaving a copy in the text box until you move to another question.
Using tablet with Duck duck browser.
So now mildly irritating not very annoying 😉
