All stuff retrieved from flat. Bought moving boxes folded and back in their own box, DS and DiL spent £40 on them; I am saving them in my loft if DS can get them up there. Been to vol job, More stuff binned, bin out for collection. One bag to CS.

Well after Monday's frantic activity, yesterday turned into a total duvet day owing for unexpected shivery side-effects from the Covid jab. Ugh. At least, on checking, Mr N & I are also recipients from generous Ernie.
Today: woke up determined to feel back to normal, and I was. By 8.30 I was still on a waiting list for aqua aerobics (10.30) so decided to go into voluntary job for the morning then spend the afternoon with Mr N in the garden.
- A new piece of fencing had arrived to go in the gap we'd created by hacking bits of hedge and random shrubs - our garden backs onto a field so it will be handy to have a gate so we can cut the hedge from the field side. So we now have the new shed, to the left of that our existing breezeblock-built compost heaps, then a new bit of paving to stand wheelbarrows/pots on (thanks to neighbour who donated her old slabs), then the new fence/gate. Mr N spent the afternoon painting the fence and gate.
- I cleared the greenhouse ready to overwinter anything that won't appreciate the cold.
- All old tomato plants now chopped and put on compost; tying-in string carefully saved and stored in a used C0sta cup - very MSE!
- remaining green tomatoes picked and put next to bananas.
- Roaming pots tidied.
- Empty seed packets binned
- staging swept
- floor swept
- Old grow-bags piled ready to enrich the next bed we're going to be working on in the front
- went to zumba
- sorted out some of December's calendar as things are starting to get booked
- did some drumming practice
Congrats on your retirement Round. I've accepted it now, having had the transition of the voluntary work to give me a bit of structure and conversation.

Very happy to see that Thursday is the spare room as I'm planning to clear that out this morning in preparation for painting later/tomorrow.
I've also got to:
- Advertise some old gibble on FB - done (either will be lots of messages or total silence)
- Sort the exchange or return of a fleabay purchase
- Clear the landing cupboard and then clear the spare room into it ready for decorating - done
- Coffee with a friend
- Paint the spare room ceiling
- S&S the bathroom and kitchen
- Two more bags to go to CS if time/energy today
I'm really guilty of saving stuff for best and never using it. Or saving it until it fits and then when it fits I don't like it. I'll bear this in mind through the day and see what I come across
Wishing a good day to everyone 😘
