wife has just seen an advert outside the carphonewh orehouse for a free lappy.
you have to take the talktalk package for 24 months. and AOL BB is included. they said existing AOL customers are elligible. which i am.
shes very tempted but im very wary. i dislike carphonewh orehouse anyways.

It's not fantastic but I've not run into any major problems. Just occasional slowness during the holidays.

    hi Ormus
ive been with talktalk for 6 months and cant fault them my speed is always between 6 and 7 megs using different testers and i thought is was only a 2 meg connection we were getting, we get inclusive local and european calls free for £20 a month, i dont use there awful router tho so maybe that helps. support is free call, although its in india and they werent that clued up when i first called them. All in all im well pleased, i live in london so i cant vouch for outside london. good luck

    Hello,

I am not up to date with all of CPW products however i am under the impression that the Free laptop is with AOL BB and Talk package no TalkTalk phone or BB.

Due to the fact that they are both separate networks they do perform differently, how have you found AOL, if you are an existing customer i don't think anything will change.

    Thanks

I have heard some bad things about Talk Talk and they've used their hard sell on me which didn't work when I said my ISP does not use a call centre...beat that! however I have a friend who swears by them (not at them)
    You could try

for interest I've also heard horror stories about people not being able to get rid of AOL seems there are bits scattered all over the computer that are very hard to find.
    Good luck!

think its the talktalk phone package and AOL BB inc. (with a BT line).
with unlimited calls for 24.99 per month.
as i am paying 9.99 pm at the moment for AOL, the deal is worth looking at.
still cannot get my head round the fact that it applies to existing customers too?
i keep looking for the catch, which there will be!

ps AOL used to be great for me (i dont use AOL SW) google is my home page, but recently its been iffy at some times in the day. so i am a bit loathe to renew my AOL deal.

I got all excited the other day, found out my exchange has been unbundled.

Then I found out it was TalkTalk, don't suit me the package they have.

They only seem to have one option take it or leave it.

I did look at the Business option and that looked a bit better.

Think I will wait for another service to join in.
