Hi, I have a simply be store catalogue/ store card which I’m finding hard to pay back with the interest. I can see I have been pre approved for a balance transfer card with 0% for 18 months and would like to transfer the balance of my simply Be account. I have searched and searched but I can’t find out wether simply be accept balance transfers? Is there anyone who knows this or is there a way to find out before I apply for the BT card?

Some store cards are but the majority are not. You should cntact the credit card provider and ask them.

I have an offer of a Money Transfer to my Bank Account. I just want to clarify if that will show as a ‘Cash Withdrawal’ on my credit file, which from other forum posts is a big no no.

It’s not something I want to be doing now, but I may have to in the future and would like some clarification.

    Thanks.

No it won't show as a cash withdrawal.
  • Hi, I have to online credit's I use Very (Catalogue) and Paypal credit can I transfer these to balance transfer credit card or not?

Filling in forms for a pre approved card and can't get past the section for these credits as they don't have a credit number as such as its account number for a catalogue or PayPal that sue your emails and phone numbers etc.

No you cannot do a balance transfer to these accounts. You will need a card with a money transfer option.

  • Hello,

I'm being charged monthly overdraft fee's and was wondering if it is possible to transfer money to a current account? this would allow me to pay off my the overdraft without incurring the fee's if I manage to get a 0% balance transfer card.

I apologise for the question; the article was unclear if they were only able to transfer to credit and not debit cards.
  • Thanks for the reply

Yes I have addressed the issue and my income has risen dramatically over the last few months; I'm wanting to work towards being debt free ( I make all my payments for everything each month without fail). I'm also wanting to ensure I make my money work smarter and not harder, am I right in thinking this would help improve my credit rating also providing I make my payments without fail?
