Nokia 6233 Texting Problem

I have been unable to send texts for the past 48 hours and cannot seem to clear the problem.
When I have created a text, I send and an error message appears stating 'Message Sending Failed. Check Details' but I cannot find any.

I can receive messages.

The messages sit in the outbox and the envelope icon has a white line half way down showing that there was a problem.

I have tried to call 3 whom I am with and the helpline does state that if you have a Nokia 6233 then there are known texting issues but apart from saying 'turn it off and then back on again', there is no advice.:mad:

Any help will be appreciated.:beer:

    the only thing i can think of is there is no sufficient credit. or the network is having problems, have you changed any settings on you're phone, get in touch with 3 and make sure you speak to someone,(instead of the automated rubbish) sorry i can't help anymore, hope you sort it out

    thanks but I am on a contract and have no credit, also I can phone so no network problems. My wife is also on 3 and she can text.
    I have changed settings since it fell over, but not since.

    Really confusing and if no one else has the same problems then I am stumped.:eek:

    Have a look in your message settings for the service centre number. It should be +447782000800

    Don't know how or why it would have changed, but it's worth a go :)

    You are a star indeed.
    I contacted 3 last night and they guided me down the same path and it worked. Sorry about not seeing your post earlier but I have 2 young girls (3 years) and they decided that they wanted to be naughty:A so didn't go online.
    Hope this helps someone else as I din't go into any settings prior to the fault so it is really strange how it occured.
    Once again, MSE people resolve an issue.:T
