This wasn't a typical week for me. I’ve had a cut on my heel for a couple of weeks so I’ve been missing gym class, dance and padel matches, then I got a two day tummy bug at the beginning of the week and decided not to go to craft club too, in case I passed it on. People noticed my absence(s) and messaged - my fears about social isolation were unfounded. And I did manage to get to Pilates and yoga.

I’m quite relaxed about finances. We’ve just had to order a new boiler and the cash is there. We’re schlepping to the big city in Monday for a free lunchtime concert and to open a branch-only regular saver, and I’m hopefully back at gym from Tuesday, before I get too out of condition ie back to my pre-retirement condition.

First message can't process (after taking all particulars) ring Customer Service.

Rang Customer Service. We are having technical problems, will ring you back later. Didn't.

Rang again. Agent says they need identity information. Sent Thursday.

Thinking of cancelling altogether if no response on Monday.

That's my financial news of week!

This week I have been out shopping for some new outdoor walking clothes (with 20% discount vouchers). Later I met two friends for lunch yesterday. We had planned a walk but the weather was too wet. Today I went to a language meet up and practised French and a little Portuguese. I also had my Portuguese lesson on Thursday.
