Stainless steel cavity microwaves
Hi all. Looking for advice/recommendations! I'm fed up of buying microwaves that start to peel the interior paint after a few years (yes, despite me drying it out after every use!)
I'm told that a stainless steel interior shouldn't go rusty/peel? I only ever really use it to re-heat stuff (leftovers/tinned food), so not bothered about a combi type microwave.
My criteria are: not black, digital preferred, and preferably with a button that opens the door (rather than just pulling the handle). I've googled for hours and have gone boggle eyed so if anyone has spotted anything, (or any advice) could they let me know please?!

We have a microwave combination oven that would fit all the requirements you mention. Panasonic NN-CT55JW. It's white with a digital display and button to open the door. It does more than you've asked for though.

I can understand your frustration, I'm looking for the exact same thing for the same reason!
A stainless steel cavity sounds the sensible option as there's no painted coating to peel, although I believe stainless steel isn't completely immune to corrosion.
I'm looking at the Statesman SKMS0923DSS. It's a 23L, 900W solo microwave in silver, with a stainless steel interior and digital controls. It's currently around £90.
