Boiler service part needed.
Not sure if this is a C/R issue or a vent.
Boiler is 4 years old.
Elderly next door neighbour had a Worcester Bosch boiler service by BOXT as she pays monthly for it on 1/10 and my partner was in the house with her and service tech person said the boiler was leaking and needed a new AAV plus inhibitor and some one will contact her to arrange a date.
6 days later she gets an email saying they had done the audit on the boiler service and it's all ok and good for another year.
My partner rang BOXT on her behalf and explained the issue and the C/S person someone will contact her.
Asked why it was passed ok the rep said she is c/s person and doesn't know anything about the service.
Called again on Monday and explained again and asked why nobody contacted her and why was the service marked as ok when the tech person took photos of the leaking part and sent them to BOXT and was told not his department.
The neighbour is still waiting for BOXT or WB to call her.
Is our neighbour being treated correctly or will she have to escalate her issue with BOXT?

Is she paying boxt monthly for just the service or monthly for their (older style) maintenance plan which I think is £17.99 a month.
If it's the latter log a support call for the AAV.

Thank you.
£7 pm for service only.

The AAV won't be replaced included in that cost then. She could ask them for a price or find a local gas safe plumber.

So it's not covered by the WB 10 year warranty then?

You have not said how old the boiler is?
Does she have proof of 10 year guarantee?

I would contact WB.

If it's under warranty definitely contact Worcester Bosch

The CS person from BOXT said last week that someone from WB would contact her and again on Monday when we rang again but CS person wouldn't or couldn't give a timeframe as it wasn't her department.
Thanks for all the replies.

I would go direct to WB. I found them very helpful.
