Halifax isa reward at last .

I live in Scotland . Been a member of Halifax for as long as I can remember . Recently they took over bank of Scotland and all Halifax members in Scotland were meant to be transferred to bank of Scotland .

Every time I sign in I still sign in with Halifax log in and never accepted visa or credit cards from bank of Scotland . This worked fine until recently they merged with Lloyds bank .

Recently Halifax offered £300 reward for opening a new isa with over £50k to be paid by September 30th . Some members on this site received their money immediately and some who waited a week or so got an extra £40 in compensation . I got nothing .

So after complaining they finally said today I was not entitled to the reward or compensation money as I was a member of bank of Scotland and not Halifax .

But they were giving me £25 for distress and £300 in compensation .

Yea right . They were in the wrong and gave me the money to shut me up . What bank would give you £300 in compensation if they were in the right .
