Help with Horizon and CCJ
Letter received that they have obtained a CCJ against me £276.79 and my credit rating has gone down on my banking App so I'm starting to panic! Please help. What could happen next or shall I still stand firm.
For clarity I paid for my parking ticket and for the full duration of the stay but the reg was incorrect on the ticket by one digit so either slip of the finger or faulty machine.
If someone could please explain what could happen next.

Letter from whom? Gladstones?
Did you ignore a Claim Form this Summer? Or is the CCJ a few months old and went to an old address (you didn't tell them when you moved?).
You will need to read post 2 of the NEWBIES thread and apply to set aside the CCJ.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Do you have a copy of the court judgment/when was it served on you? Perhaps this is a speculative claim on their part, have you been served with any court papers at all?

It's a letter from Gladstones solicitors to say they have obtained a CCJ. I have not been summonsed to court. Just noticed on my lloyds banking app my credit rating has gone down and a note added that a CCJ has been recorded against me.

Nothing will happen as it is below the threshold for escalation to High Court.
But it will stay on your credit file for 6 years. So if that is important, apply for setaside.

Follow @Coupon-mad advice above, they cannot just apply for a CCJ there was a whole raft of letters appeals process, debt collection threats prior to a court claim being logged before it got to this stage, and a single digit error should have been cancelled at appeal stage.
Your V5C must have been registered to a previous or wrong address for it to have got to this stage, and they should have made better efforts to trace the keeper.

So my understanding from this is that I have no CCJ? That can only be applied after a court case and I have not been summoned to court. They have my address and I have received all their paperwork (which I have ignored)
Not at the stage of threats of debt recovery yet

No summons was issued, but there must have been a Money Claim from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL ( definitely NOT a summons. )
Presumably the letters all went to an old address, meaning that you must have moved and nit informed Horizon or Gladstones, possibly not updating your V5c promptly ( a common mistake )

Yes I have had a Money claim form from the CNBC

Thats a judgment, ( dated 29th September. ) not a Money Claim
I suggest that you answer all the questions you have been asked so far

letter received from the CNBC 29/09/26 a judgement for claimant (in default) to the sum of £276.79
Letter 30/09/26 from gladstones solicitors stating a CCJ has been obtained against me and if I pay within one month the CCJ will be removed from my record.
I have not been served with any court papers and I have not moved address and my V5 is correct
