Late wife
my wife had a car on finance and I sent in a claim in her name but she has now passed away, We were married 45 years and I was the executor and sole beneficiary, will they not have to pay out now or will that money still be part of her estate

If there is actually a valid claim it will be paid to her estate.

they have replied in a letter confirming that the claim is correct, I was just worried if they might say that now that she is not here they would not pay out

death doesnt wipe out monies due in either direction

Thats impressive. Most firms have only confirmed whether DCA existed or not (which in itself doesn't mean money is due). Not that the complaint has been upheld and money is due.
