Should be your mums government gateway account that you are using, not yours. ! Her login, her password

Then use the claim form reference number and the password on the lower right hand side of the claim form to get into the defence box ( you cant forget it, its on the form! ) see the red number 4 in a different example below

Usually the error is a typo due to you not putting in the correct character from the password, mixing up L 1 or l for example

I doubt that the CNBC can help you and I bet that the claim is still a live claim

You should keep trying to login, at this moment dont email it because you have time

i AOS 30/09 i have done the case sensitive password still not found - the issue might be i have forgotten the original password for the first government gateway and created a second one for my mum - but i would assume it would still locate the claim

I would assume that it wouldn't find it

You should have got your mum to reset the original gateway account, not created a new one

the claim is still live, i will try to rectify the login but they have sent an email form to fill in instead. I have till the 24th to complete. I have amended paragraphs 2 and 3 as below. is this suitable to send?

    2. The allegation(s) are vague and liability is denied for
the sum claimed, or at all. The delay in bringing proceedings lies with
the Claimant, making retrieving material evidence difficult, which is highly
prejudicial. The Defendant has little knowledge of events, save as set out
below and to admit that they were the registered keeper and driver.

    3.  The Defendant denies the allegation: she did purchase a ticket but inadvertently entered the incorrect
reg which the Claimant knew at appeal stage. Therefore there was no loss and
the Beavis case is distinguished, not least because the Defendant is a type 2 diabetic who was particularly stressed due to attending family court that day. The Defendant's PCN should have been fully cancelled on appeal as a 'reasonable adjustment' under the Equality Act 2010 in recognition that
the typo arose as a result of her disability.

    Do not use their forms

    Paragraph 2 is ok

In Paragraph 3 , change SHE to The Defendant

    Then , Add Paragraph 1 and Paragraphs 4 to 10 , unchanged

Then add a header and also a footer ( which includes the latest statement of truth, plus the date and add an e signature too ( as used to occur 18 months ago when defences were emailed )

When fully completed, save as a pdf document, attach the pdf to her email, add the claim reference number and name to the email header and also in the email body too

Then email it to the claim responses email address in the 1st post in the defence template thread in announcements, and only that one

Do as advised above and stop ringing the CNBC, who give very poor advice.

Obviously your PDF must have the Claim identifying headers and your signature and date under the long statement of truth (don't ask AI about that).

And you already know the claim responses email address to use, because the Template Defence thread provides you with it.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
