What to do with big premium bond win

Sorry this thread is turning into a life story.
No problem with that. In fact many new posters just ask a basic question about finances, but with no other info. This makes the question virtually impossible to answer, as the answer nearly always depends on the posters personal situation.
Apart from the £100K, even getting 8 prizes in one month is not normal !

Wow, 8 prizes in one go. You must have got all mine for the last 2 months as I've had blanks despite a decent holding.😊
I would have been beside myself with excitement just seeing 8 prizes.
Thanks for posting, it is nice to hear a good luck story.

Nice.
Often had my suspicions about the Premium Bonds. I know 7 people (one being me) who have had the maximum holding for over 11 years. None of us have ever won more than £500 in a month.

Thanks for the input everyone. Ive gone with Cynergy easy access savings.
Was able to transfer all of it via the one off payment thing. Had to register for biometric but was a lot better than before when it never worked properly.
Cant wait for friday, out of interest please post in here if you win. Good luck all 🍀🍀🤞🤞🙏

Lovely to read a story where good fortune has landed in a place where it will make a real and positive difference to people, beyond just buying "shiny things".

Interesting, I had always thought the prizes were shown in descending order but this just goes to show that all hope is not lost if your first prize is for £25.

For those that like analysing.
In this order...
2x£25
4x£50
1x£100
1x£100,000

What is suspicious about that ?

What a great story - congratulations and, as said above, heartening to see a prize won by someone who'll both appreciate it and need it for a great reason

That's well within the standard expectations from the random draw.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0
