    You’d need professional advice to move your funds out of a Pension.

    That only applies to DB/final salary type pensions, or DC pensions with guarantees attached. A standard DC pension can be transferred to another one, or withdrawn from, without any advice needed.

    You should get advice from an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) rather than from wealth management companies as the latter don’t necessarily have access to the whole market and might direct you to their own products only.

    Plus they will tend to have higher charges ( to boost their wealth).
