    Hampers are a mugs game

Anyone who doubts that should look up the sorry history of people who saved money with Farepack on the internet

In any case, hamper companies are a mugs game. Save in a savings account. you can open one at the post office?

Dont' know but the rules must be in any paperwork she signed when she joined.

As I would never join such a scheme I don't have a copy of the rules.

Years ago I saved for these with a friend, when I hit hard times and wanted my money back, she fell out with me as it affected her commission.never spoke to me again.

Personally i wouldnot save this waynow to much of a risk.

Problem is, these companies are for the weak.

People who can not save themselves, and need people to take £20 a week from them to receive a hamper at Christmas that costs three times as much than the contents inside.

Re the vouchers, again, if the typical Christmas Voucher saver had a bank account themselves, they would of emptied it on many occasions through the year, and would have nothing for Christmas.

Shame really as now Provident have teamed up with Park, and they offer Park products as stupid APR's for the vulnerable at Christmas.

Personally, I hope the government look closely at Provident, and these pay day lenders and their partners.
