Trading212 ISA transfer

I’m trying to transfer my Tradin212 to a new provider. They only allow paper transfers which is proving to be a pain. I’ve been round most of the banks and all of them only accept electronic ISA transfers. I know HSBC allow paper transfers but they made a mess of the original transfer so for me they are a big no no. Does anyone have knowledge of banks/building societies who allow paper transfers?

Try Shawbrook - when you apply, there's a big drop-down list of providers.

My provider (not Trading212) doesn't do electronic transfers but were on the list.

Once the account was open, Shawbrook sent me a pre-filled transfer form to sign.

Just checked the Shawbrook website, unfortunately Trading212 aren’t listed. Back to the drawing board.

Might try Paragon, as per a previous thread.

Nationwide may do so, but apparently it needs a branch visit.

Might not be listed, but Shawbrook do accept paper transfer forms.

I opened Chip and then transferred my Trader212 cash ISA to it. All done via the Chip app and only took a couple of days. I don't have a lot of experience of ISAs and transfers so sorry if I've misunderstood and said something daft.

Thanks for all your advice, checked and it looks like Yorkshire Building Society do paper transfers in branch. Calling in tomorrow to check. 👍

Alternatively, Tesco cash ISA do accept paper transfers and I used them to transfer Trading 212 to them. They have one of the more competitive rated flexible cash ISAs without restrictions.

I transferred my T212 to Paragon. It was a while ago and I can't remember for certain but I don't think I needed to fill in a paper form

Sorry if I've not understood the issue, but similar to above I've today instructed a transfer out of T212 Cash ISA, I had a notification from T212 within about 20 minutes, I electronically signed the transfer confirmation form on the T212 app and that was it. Now just waiting for the money to appear in the new ISA.

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with the new provider, rather than with T212.

    This was to Moneybox.
