Can someone confirm that there will be no compensation for delays

    No compensation is payable as the delays were outside the airlines control but the duty of care, to provide meals and accommodation if necessary, remains. The CAA has been tasked to look into the issue of compensation for the airlines as the event cost them millions, but NATS has no liability to passengers at all

    That is correct, assuming you refer to EU/UK261 compensation.
