|Had to spend £4.55 on verrucca gel. Now where did that come from. I haven't been swimming and the kids haven't got them.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Annoyed with myself as I got up late and wasn't organised for my first day back. I had to buy a cup of tea for 50p instead of bringing in milk. However, I didn't go to the other cafe where it would have be 85p. - kind of moneysaving??
I will only be able to do piggyclicks today and it won't be a NSD as I need a new memory stick for work (about £70
)
Sorry you have had a bad first day back at work Jamtart.
Hope everyone else is having a good day, especially if its the first day back after xmas hols:D0 -

Hi,
Glad you can go back to work sophiesmum. Make the most of your time off in the meantime!
I went to Glasgow today. Didn't get many bargains and couldn't browse in my favourite shops but I did get:
M&S
4 X different rolls of X'mas wrapping paper for 50p each. Had a sign up saying 50p but till was still scanning them at £1 but the sales assistant changed the price for me after I told him. Two of the rolls were fairly plain so could be used for birthday/ special events wrapping paper. Original price £3.50 each.
2 x pillow cases £1 each. I got 2 of the same design last week reduced to £1.50 each but as they are decent quality should last me for years. Original price £3.50 each.
1 x pk of 10 wedding invitation cards where you can decorate it yourself (various heart, flower embelishments - I think that's what they are called) and print the inside to suit. I'm just going to use them to make wedding/birthday cards. Original price £7.50.
They still had xmas cards reduced to £1 (not cheap enough for me), pk of 10 it's a boy/girl announcement cards at 25p, X'mas tree bobbles and X'mas tree bobbles with 4 chocolates at 50p each. This was at the Sauchihall branch.
TK Maxx
1 x pair of Miss Viva jeans reduced to £7 (never heard of the brand but I love their designs)
Primark
1 x set of extra wide long length curtains for living room or master bedroom. £25. Not reduced but a good price.
As usual they had lots of stuff at dirt cheap prices but I can honestly say I don't own 1 piece of clothing from there. Shock horror.
I did pop into Sainsbury's Central but apart from a few 1/2 price items and 1/2 price jewelery/ x'mas jewelery I couldn't see anything. Not worth going to IMO.
I swapped 5 of my worn Tesco bags for life for new ones and also found a couple of receipts with points.
Did my piggy click.
Got a couple of nice blank birthday cards at parents house (trying to persuade me to joing some club)Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
Boots points: £0.28
Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)0 -
Everyone's days sound very DFW, well done!!
Today, I have:
Gone for a walk (relaxing and free) instead of going skiing.
And I'm going to:
Make myself a coffee and tidy my room
And
Borrow a digital camera and a gorgeous friend to model some clothes for selling on eBay.
