When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
I will start off.
Today I will.........

Been to the Docs now and he has said I can go back to work on the 14th, so that leaves me one week to get the place decluttered and do some batch cooking /baking for the days when I won't feel like cooking after work:D
Can't believe how quickly 6 weeks has gone past. I also want to make a few batches of marmalade and some sausages for the freezer:D

Morning All:wave:
Today I shall:
-Have Done my clicks
-Carry on driving in the most fuel economical way (I'm getting 45 miles per gallon
) on my long trip (300 miles round trip I think - long for me) to the West Country this afternoon.
-Ate breakfast so that I avoid the Kit-Kat call at 11am. Though I now have a 5-pack (4 left
) in the office fridge which is far more DFW than the vending machine and I have so far been able to resist scoffing the lot.
-apart from petrol a NSD then.

Annoyed with myself as I got up late and wasn't organised for my first day back. I had to buy a cup of tea for 50p instead of bringing in milk. However, I didn't go to the other cafe where it would have be 85p. - kind of moneysaving??
I will only be able to do piggyclicks today and it won't be a NSD as I need a new memory stick for work (about £70
)
