Morning all,
My contract with Vodafone ends on 8/2 and I will be changing provider.
Am I able to give the PAC code to my new provider prior to the Vodafone contact ending or do I have to wait until the contract ends in February?
Thanks

Yes. If I recall correctly you will have to write to Vodafone to request this and it does take a bit of time. Give them a call.Scuzie:T

Hi onefurlongout,
I'm sorry to hear you're leaving Vodafone, but will happily advise you of what you need to do.
If you call us on 191 from your handset we'll be able to request your PAC as you're in the last 60 days of your contract. The code will then be posted to you within 5-7 days, or you could call up just before that and the code will normally be on your account.
When you port over to your new network is entirely up to you. On handing your PAC over to them, there's a 7 day delay whilst we arrange the port; your number remains active on Vodafone during this time, then will move to the new network on your activation date (the 7th day.)
If this is before the end of your Vodafone contract, your final bill will include line rental from the day you left until the end of your contract. If it's after that point, the line rental on your last bill will just be until the day you ported out.
I hope this helps,
Hopefullyuseful1
