Ruby Wedding ideas...

My parents had their Ruby Wedding a few years back & said they didn't want a big do, so we just did a Ruby dinner party for them, my family & my sister's family.

I did a "red" menu, we had ruby tapas to begin (they love going to Spain); patatas bravas, prawns pil pil (in tomato & chilli) and tomato bread; the main course was steak in red wine sauce and pudding was a strawberry cheesecake. We had ruby port afterwards too & coffee and chocolates in red wrappers.

(The children had pasta in tomato sauce!)

I did the table all red too, printed up souvenir menus and put up red fairy lights. DH made a compilation CD of their favourite music which we played and then gave them afterwards.

They loved it all & we had a lovely time.
