Snoring App that wakes you when snoring?

Hi,

Are there any free snoring Apps which wake you when snoring. I do both snoring and Catathrenia (groaning) and so need to be woken up so i stop it.

"Sleep as Android" seems free but it doesnt have an audio recorder which starts recording when you snore, so as to proove that you started snoring before it actually wakes you with an alarm.

It sounds like you may have sleep apnoea, has your doctor referred you to a sleep clinic? A CPAP machine may help.

How do you know?

edited to add you asked the same question back in January and it was suggested them that you saw your GP. Have you done that?

my husband has a ring that buzzes when he stops breathing while snoring. It wakes him slightly, he shifts position and the snoring stops.

I have sleep apnoea - I tried CPAP but that just kept me awake! I now use an MAD (mouth-guard)

Thanks, i saw some chinstraps on Amazon for £8, but wasnt sure if they would work….i guess if they keep the mouth closed then they have a good chance of working.

I think my brother has a mouthguard too, for snoring. It pulls his jaw forward (or something like that). Couldn't say where he got it (he's in the EU!)
