I see what you mean. The maximum you can deposit into it in any month is £200. You could deposit £200 into it on day 1 and then another up to £200 on day 31 or 32. Your account is assessed on day 60.

It depends on how long they keep records for. I believe that banks can destroy records after 6 years.

There's nothing in the T&Cs that say the 2 DDs need to be from separate companies on the list. Just that the 2 DDs need to be from companies on the list.

Is it ok to take the 1500 out (well 1300 actually as £200 has gone to the regular saver) once it has gone in or should I leave it there?

They'll assess your account 60 days after you request your switch to Santander, and then have 30 days to pay the bonus, though in the past they have normally paid within a few days of assessing an account.

The wording on Santander website states: "Offer only available if you didn’t hold a Santander current account on 1 January 2026, or if you haven’t previously received a Santander switcher incentive."

Therefore am I correct in thinking only one of those things has to be true? I have received a switch bonus but I haven't been a customer in years
