Washer under warranty failed, flooded kitchen.

Washer was replaced under warranty, consumer rights met.

Kitchen flooded is a home insurance claim. If your insurance company wish to claim from Beko/AO instruct them to.

S19(11)(a) lists damages as one of the alternative remedies that a consumer can seek under the CRA. I successfully had JL pay out on lost food under this after a defective freezer was supplied.

I agree with others that pursuing the retailer is much simpler than attempting to recover from the Belko. The CPA allows you to pursue the manufacturer, importer or brander of the goods. If they are insistent of going after Beko they will presumably want to pursue the UK entity rather than the Turkish parent company. They have been restructuring a lot since the deal with Whirlpool and the OP needs to ensure they are suing the right entity else tis an easy defence for them to wash their hands if the OP sues the current importer rather than the importer at the time they bought it.

Ultimately the judge would decide on the evidence, under the CPA its up to the OP to prove the product was defective and not for Beko to disprove it. I'm with others that a single video is unlikely to persuade a judge that it's more likely than not that it's a defect rather than an issue caused by poor installation, damage caused by misuse etc. If you are ever considering suing a firm, you should commission a report from an appropriate engineer before letting the goods out of your control.

The OP has the choice to go after either retailer or manufaturer/importer but they have more of an uphill struggle with the manufacturer. AO has already replaced the machine which would strongly imply they accepted it was faulty by their standards.
