There's no scope for a counterclaim so just use the recommended LBC reply already written in the NEWBIES thread post 2.

Thank you, I have sent this to them.
I have contacted odeon cinema to ask if they can help and confirm I was a paying customer at the time (I have bank statements to prove) If they respond and help confirm this. Should I send this to moorside legal or just wait for the next steps ?

I received a letter of claim in the post 2 days ago. I had already emailed this response to the LOC 4 days ago and had confirmation that they received the email but it states that the mail box is not monitored and I should go onto their "portal"
Now today I've received another email from moorside claiming they have not heard back from me, no reply from the email I had sent (shown in the photo above) do I re send it ?

Just to add to my last post. Since their help email is no longer monitored, how do I send them a response to the letter of claim, via their portal or ? Such a joke they refuse to monitor their emails

I've received another email today saying that they haven't heard from me, even though I have emailed them.
They are saying "If we do not receive a response or payment by the deadline, we are instructed to issue a County Court claim against you"

They have a portal (according to people who have used these portals they are quite safe) that you use instead of email.

I have logged into that but as expected no way of contacting them only by phone

Stop wasting your time. Whether they issue a court claim, or they don't issue a court claim, has no correlation whether or not you responded to their letter. And you have no real obligation to respond at all.

@ChirpyChicken surely this is wrong? The portal is for contact isn't it?
