Credit Card in Credit

It's literally a recognised money laundering technique, but OK.

Sadly you are missing a point.
Many ML are using mules who pay dirty money in (put a cc in credit) & then request that cash back. Thus becoming clean money.
👍(think one is enough)🤣
Having done enough mandatory learnings on ML each year, you get to know the tricks.
Most ML is actually small, rather than big amounts.

Of course it is

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Sounds good, missing the point of stuff that doesn't happen
People putting account in credit immediately ties them to the crime and is very easily traced and bunged on CIFAS. It needs you to get the money into their account first which can flag on money laundering and no guarantee the bank won't simply return it to source immediately with a paper trail
Why run that risk when you can get some gullible money mule to pay in cash and transfer it out or just rent a barber's chair in a barber shop and run numerous fake haircuts through the business to wash it or setup "American Candy" stores with fictional sales

SO … after trying to do the right thing, by opening a First Direct account, and failing, guess what I am now going to do?
Yep, put my credit card in credit, as it is a sight easier than dealing with First Direct.
