Finally qualified for the cashback from Tuck, so bought credit for Uber €ats last week ( so that amount is a free shop). I've just applied it today and topped up with £4.15 (technically £5 as that's the minimum payment for U€). I also qualified for a £1.50 discount for choosing an open slot for delivery.

I've just done my last shop of September at Liddly today as I get paid and start the new month on Wednesday. £14 spent on a variety of top ups and offers like Greek yogurt, apples and easy peelers, millk, bottle of cider for next weekend, tinned sardines and a few other things which I can't remember. I also got a huge orange to make courgette and orange cake with the last of the courgettes from the allotment. The warm weather is also giving me a couple of cucumbers and I'm ripening tomatoes in a brown paper bag on the window sill.
Grocery challenge 2026: £1069.50/15005 -
£6.77 spent at the local international food shop on marjarom, soya mince (tvp) and a bag of cinnamon (300g). I wish they'd had smaller of the latter or something more in-between sizes; but it was 50g, or 300g. I could really call that a bulk buy; but I'm already over by £9 odd.
I have an Ab€l and C0le order to add too, but not sure how to work that one out yet; as two items are for Christmas and it was £10 off the overall spend. I might see if they've itemised the bill individually with the discount 🤔

I've decided to split the spend above down the middle, as each item isn't itemised. So, £6.40 added to signature.
All's I need before Saturday is possibly orange juice . I'm hoping that's it for the month.

Hopefully the last time I come on and report spends now. I bought a barista milk as one I thought wouldn't curdle in coffee, has!
HB ~ Barista milk £1.19 ( Plenish dupe), 8 pack of crisps ( DD1 and DGD popping over at weekend) This was a nine pack with one missing for £1.25 instead of nearly £2.00! Normally that price now for 6. Plus, cleaning wipes and plasters £1.58
Then Ald! Orange juice 89p, hand wash 44p, two boxes of 4 smashed burgers (on clearance to make way from Christmas stock or colder weather food I think, so couldn't resist at that price) £1.50, and a loose pepper that I didn't need but they are on super 6 - 49p
Total £7.84

Last spends today £3.15 in Ald! Lettuce, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms - forgot to get the assistant to markdown my lettuce as my DD2 was with me and got distracted, as her card wasn't working and also she had to swap a box of something that was open!
£1.70 the other day that I forgot about - cauli and two bags of YS kale in the co-op ( not sure if I've added those already or not)
HB 99p for batteries
£5.84 to add
Which means I'm 1.21 over budget for normal groceries, but I'll take that! I think it's the closest I've been since the start of the year!
