    If it gives you 30 days notice to respond, then assume that its a Letter of Claim ( especially if they included financial forms. )

    Assume it's genuine.

    Although its status isn't "legal" or "official" in any specific capacity ie. anyone can issue a court claim whether ot not they've sent a Letter Before Action. They're not "supposed" to, but nobody cares one way or the other.

    Whether OAK will go to court with a fake and Double recovery is the question
