  • i have similar prob i got this from them

We received a recent request concerning your account issue from an e-mail address that is not associated with your account.

The account from which you've written is different from the one associated with the email address you've given.

For security reasons, we can only send order information to the e-mail address that is associated with the Amazon.co.uk account. For this reason, I am sending my reply to your account address rather than the address from which the request was sent.

For security reasons, we can only take action on an account when the request comes from the e-mail address related to that account. This is the only way to be certain that the request is coming from the account holder and that all personal information is protected. We're sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

i have no other account and have only changed my email address. i have used them for 17-18 yrs. they have never said we cant send u items as the order is not associated with you email address. hmm all very fishy.

You have to understand that they will only deal with the account linked to the email, or any 3rd party could close or change details.

So this sounds like a 3rd party is trying to access your account. Time to change passwords & set up a passkey & not share it with anyone.

Sounds like Amazon are being very responsible and protecting the account from potential hacking. If you have changed your e-mail address, and no longer have access to the old address, you should have changed the email address with Amazon before losing access to it.
