Isa newbie

HHello I was wondering could someone advise me please . Im terribly bad with money but I have opened the 212 cash isa as recommended on page . Ive simply no idea what its about . Im going to be receiving money and I dont want to waste it on rubbish . I wanted to put some in as savings . Im just awful foolish with money and know nothing about it

    You might like to read this linked info about ISAs of which there are ones for cash and ones for stocks and shares. If you know nothing about money you might be best to stick to the cash ones.

    Best cash ISAs: up to 4.56% easy access, up to 4.85% fixed - MSE

    Basic line on an ISA is that you put money in, same as into a savings account, but there's no tax on the interest earned. Like savings accounts there are various restrictions.
