Why is so difficult get Full Fibre living in a flat in London (Putney)?

I think "I just think it's unbelievable that in 2026 there is no full fibre in the whole of London." was meant to read "I just think it's unbelievable that in 2026 there is not full fibre in the whole of London." (my bold) - i.e. that @notitle wishes FTTP was at 100% in London, rather than claiming it is at 0%.

Would make more sense although very entitled.

says 78% full fibre for London.
Some European capitals are much higher, e.g. Madrid is over 99%, whereas others, e.g. Berlin, are worse.
I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting better.0 -
I've got a reply from Ms Fleur.
Openreach said to her:
Hi Fleur
Thanks again for getting in touch with us on behalf of your constituent, XXXXXX, about our plans to connect his building to full fibre
I've looked into this and can see XXXX home is powered from our Putney exchange. We've already built Ultrafast Full Fibre broadband to about half of the homes and businesses across the exchange on our way to 25 million homes and businesses by the end of the year and then on to 30 million premises by 2030. This involves a lot of planning and complexity with additional challenges and work involved in connecting a building like XXXX, which Openreach classify as an MDU (Multiple Dwelling Unit). As of now - I'm afraid we don’t have any confirmed plans to build more network to this building. MDU's are built and connected by specialist engineers and - particularly in this area of London - there is a huge demand and only a finite amount of resources I'm afraid.
The current delay with building to XXXXX is not related to a wayleave issue. Openreach have not approached the building owners as we have not planned to build this MDU at this time."Not very good news…
