EE Full Fibre deal via MSE issues

Hi everyone,

I was looking at signing up for the EE Full Fibre MSE deals (specifically the 1.6Gb package with the £165 reward). Since I currently have a mobile plan with EE, I gave their sales team a call to see if they could do anything directly or clarify a few things as I will become a multi product customer.

The agent on the phone told me three specific things that sound completely off, so I wanted to run them by the community here to see if anyone who signed up via an MSE affiliate link can share their real experience. Because to me the agent was framing the conversation as this is not even a "real" EE contract. She said…

  • If you sign up through MSE, EE won't support your contract or help with customer service/technical issues because you bought through a third party. Surely this is total nonsense? When you click through the MSE link, it takes you directly to the EE website to order. EE is still the ISP supplying the line, sending the router, and billing you... right?
  • EE won't give you the standard switching credit (up to £200/£300 to cover early exit fees from your previous provider) if you sign up via a third-party link like MSE. EE’s official help pages state that new customers claiming switching credit just need to email their final bill to switch-team@ee.co.uk after activation. Has anyone who joined EE via an MSE promo link successfully claimed the exit fee credit from their old provider?

Lastly, if I have already used my email address for EE Mobile account can I use same email address for this offer too?

Would appreciate hearing from anyone who signed up through the MSE link!
