Many of my family are abroad and this is the best way for them to send me a present. Therefore , I have never come across a problem with them. I know not registered for gift cards but I am on the loyalty scheme so they do have the details !

Companies will only inform customers after entering administration. Never before, as administration is the last resort before folding. They were hoping someone would bail them out. Now they have to deal with Mr Ashley & the Frazer group & become a brand that is no where near what it used to be.

Having your contact details doesn't any make difference though. Just means they can advise you of the news which you already know about anyway.

It's not a case of 'can't be bothered…..'. Most of our adult friends and family have everything they actually need, so a gift voucher gives them the opportunity to get something they really want rather than being lumbered with something somebody else thinks they should want.

The OP with the gift cards hasn't been back to this site since 19/08. Let's hope that they get to hear about this replacement scheme, especially the cut-off date of END SEPTEMBER.
