Wizz flight time changes

Just had a second flight time change from Wizz - these are for Xmas flights that are now really expensive elsewhere so not looking to change dates if possible.

Originally, the flight was leaving Gatwick at 11am, now leaving at 6am, so I now cannot use public transport to get there so would need to buy airport parking.

The only option on the app is to accept change, or request full refund. There is no mention that they can/should compensate for change of time expenses, given that it is over 3 months away. Any thoughts please valued forum team?

Five hours isnt seen as a significant change. So your only options are to accept the change or cancel.

Not aware that any airline will offer anything other than a refund (or a rebook if this is a cancellation rather than a time change).

Had similar with a Jet2 booking, moved from midday to 6am - means a £150 taxi rather than a free bus - because timeshift was less than 12 hours wasn't even able to cancel for refund.

I thought as much - the main reason I chose them was the flight time meant I didn't need airport parking!!! Got us over a barrel literally! Bah humbug!

Where are you travelling from? Trains run to Gatwick all night, and there is a Premier Inn on site which is often cheaper than parking....

Yes go for either the Premier inn at North Terminal or the one at Airport way. Both easily walked to and if booked early enough very reasonable. Compare but should be cheaper than parking and a more relaxing start to your holiday.
