Cheap Energy Club; custom add tariff rates?

My tariff isn't listed (Fuse Jul 2026 Single Rate Fixed (15m) v1), it'd be nice to have the option to fill out my fixed rate/standing charges to get accurate savings (or increase) calculations.

Alternatively, if you are able to add my tariff, that'd be grand.

Just work out your own annual costs and use that to compare against the CEC figure, would take less than a minute in a spreadsheet.

As mentioned above, if your tariff is not added, just work out your own cost very easily. On your latest bill from Fuse it should have your estimated annual cost listed. Check that your expected annual usage is correct.

My understanding is that you have only recently joined this tariff which will cost £100 to exit early and your are fixed for 15 months.

It my be worthwhile sitting back until 2028 unless there are big changes announced for energy prices in the press. It will take a big change to be able to swallow the early exit fee and enable any savings. The only forecasts I have seen indicate energy prices are more liable to increase rather than reduce in the short term.

If looking to make savings it may be a worthwhile exercise looking into if there are ways that you can reduce your energy usage. Lots of info on this forum where people have made considerable savings.

I have been sitting back since I got a 12 month fix with Outfox energy in January 2026. After reading your post and looking at your rates I had a quick look on the Cheap energy club. The cheapest current fix for me is with Fuse and would take my estimated annual bill from £1864 to £2286 a year. I cannot do anything now in any case as I would have early exit fees of £150 to pay if I exit before December 2026.

Lets hope that something changes and energy costs reduce.

My tariff from Ecotricity isn't listed either (EcoLoyalty - 1 year Electricity E7 Jan 26 v1 / EcoLoyalty - 1 year Gas Jan 26 v1).

I found the only way to compare E7 tariffs and regular tariffs was to create my own spreadsheet. With the increase in devices that use power overnight (e.g., cars, dishwashers, condensers, washing machines, and so on), it would be good to be able to enter consumption and get a whole-of-market comparison. Having additional parameters (total electric use and % night use) and the ability to enter a custom tariff would be great.

Although I did find that going through it all myself gave me much greater confidence that I had chosen the optimal tariff for our particular use and what assumptions were most important, rather than relying on a comparison engine output.
