    None of that matters.

The parking industry is rotten, with poor signs, often unlawful surveillance (excessive and insufficient GDPR warning) and opaque systems. This isn't a fine or a fee. Why should they 'read the letter' like it's important?

    It's no more than a chancer's invoice.

"Once we have it, should my husband appeal to Horizon and include the receipt as evidence?"

    Yes.

  • I've received a similar charge in Scotland - wondering what difference that would make to the advice here. Currently planning to appeal as a genuine customer with a medical reason for taking a long time (the actual case). Have emailed Tesco for CCTV and not yet heard back. Will not wait for this before lodging appeal, but wondering if it is worth the petrol and time to travel 1h to that store to try to speak to the manager and/or customer service desk.

If you are in Scotland simply ignore them completely.

Certainly DO NOT appeal. My goodness it is very different in Scotland.
