I see a mention of telling them if you move house or the newbie thread. I failed to do this, but have received this letter and a previous reminder to my current address. I assume that I should still contact a department and tell them to remove the previous address from their records, or shall I ignore them wholesale?

You should email the DPO at the private parking company with the correct address for the service of papers and they MUST ERASE the old address for you, add the pcn reference number and VRM details etc

Add proof of the new correct address

interesting! They sent me another letter in 2024 but it was debt recovery plus instead of DCBL!

is there a reason they’ll used more than one debt recovery agency? Id imagine in the hopes they have more success with one vs the other or just having multiple after you would put the !!!!!! on someone and entice them to pay

Avarice, any and every possible option to try to scam people's bank balances so multiple debt collectors letters are commonplace, all part of the bullying aspect, to wither away any opposition and to dupe people into paying

thanks so much for all of this info. So to confirm: liability will change only for PNCs given after this change is made, and not pre-existing ones?
