@ChickyPenguin - I think the first one came out when I was 15 but I didn't read them until years later. They are just magical. Have you been to Harry Potter World?

@Sardine82 - Its a survey site, I've been on it for a good few years now. I think it used to be called PopulusLive?

Sunday already! Went out with friends yesterday. The plan was to go charity shopping, lunch at 3pm then maybe some cocktails.

I was up and out with the dogs early then showered and ready for around 10am. Text them to ask when we were meeting and they said 1pm!

We managed a couple of charity shops then had to go for the lunch, they had a bit of a domestic then we were home for 6pm. Bit of a disaster really.

Got home from the lunch time dog walk and there was a Virgin salesman at the door.

He was going over all these offers and figures and asking me my phone number and the next thing I know I'm getting an email and SMS from BT to say sorry you're leaving.

In amongst all of this he was playing with the dogs and I said about 4 or 5 times don't whistle at the dog or bend down to her because she will jump and head butt you. Well low and behold he didn't listen and yep he got head butted, had the teeniest wee cut on his chin.

Then he was like oh that was totally my fault, well yeah of course it was.

Had to come in and call BT who then offered me a deal to stay so had to then call Virgin and cancel the order.

What a pain honestly. Feel like I've now wasted half the day sorting this all out.

In future if anyone comes to the door I do not live here.

So the Virgin plan and the subsequent O2 SIM deal are both cancelled.

I'll keep an eye on my DD's in my online banking and if they set anything up I will just cancel them.

I am so tired tonight, my plan was to deep clean the kitchen but honestly that can wait now until tomorrow.

Busy day so far. Got 2 meetings back to back from 2pm then the last one at 4pm.

Find them to be very exhausting and I still have all my work to do.

Picked my nephew up when I was out with the dogs, he's sleeping over because we are having his summer day tomorrow. Budget £100 (save up through the year) and he get's to choose to do what he wants with that.

We are going to Sugarfall Patisserie for afternoon tea, a place for matcha then charity shopping with the remaining budget! Really looking forward to and it just hoping it's not as hot tomorrow cos we both do not cope well with the heat.

Had a lovely day with my nephew yesterday and was home earlier than I thought so I pulled all the throws and cushion covers off the couch and washed them all. Most things out of the living room that don't belong there and hoovered the floors.

Kitchen counters are almost all clear, the place is looking great.

Dining room, I can almost see the dining table. It's been covered in clean washing.

Been trying to potter in between meetings rather than watching telly. Feel like when the place is looking all lovely I will be able to relax better.

Been flooded from an upstairs neighbour. Problem being that I own this flat and all those above me rent from the council.

They've been out and said they can't find a leak. It's coming in through a socket for an extraction fan and now I've got flickering lights in my hallway and kitchen.

The electrician is away to get me 2 new light fittings, I called back the housing officer to say he is replacing them due to finding moisture above the fittings so they won't charge me for it.

He said that I can pay to get the ceiling removed so I can investigate the leak, I said I'm sorry but no it can only be coming from above and they are all rented so if the ceiling is coming down you will be doing it!
