Need WiFi for my elderly dad at home

hi just keep getting too much information when I search for good deals it’s messing with my head. My elderly father has early dementia and is being cared for at home. I’d like to get WiFi to enable us to buy a camera of some sort to keep an eye on him in his livingroom via our mobile phones plus allow him to watch tv channels up/downstairs. I would really appreciate any helpful advise ? We don’t need line rental as he has no phone.

I've found Plusnet to be a very good provider for internet .Eufy do decent cameras

Ok let's start at the start.

In-home WiFi is the final leg of an internet connection. It's generally provided by a box of electronics called a router. Exactly how the router connects to the internet will vary. Common options include:

• Wired broadband, the same sort of service that was previously used for a home phone line. This could be a copper wire or a fibre optic cable, but they're equivalent to one another. This is generally the most reliable connection with best customer support, highest speed and unlimited data use. Prices start at around £20 a month. I've got this at home.
• Mobile broadband. This accesses the internet via mobile phone signals, just like a smartphone does. Not quite as reliable as wired broadband, and you need to pick a mobile network that has good signal in the place your dad lives. Prices start around £15 a month for "unlimited" or you can get services with a high data cap for a little bit less. My student son used this in his flat, shared with his other flatmates.
• Satellite broadband via Starlink. This connects to the internet using the constellation of Starlink satellites on low earth orbit. It's available anywhere with a good view of the sky. It's affected by heavy rain or snow and does need an antenna (smaller than a Sky dish) fixing to the outside of your property. Price starts at £35 a month. I've never used this myself.

The MSE checker I linked to does include mobile broadband, although exactly how and when is not overly transparent.

My current address returns no mobile options, my previous address shows offerings from 3 operators.
