Morning all. Hope you're doing okay.

Yesterday was grand children day so no flying except basics although DGD2 did help me plant a rose bush.

Today I got up early and walked Poppet in the rain. Very refreshing. It's stopped now so I have put two wash loads on the line. Dailies are done and puzzle wise - wordle in four, connections with no lives lost (got purple line first) and strands with no hints.

I'm waiting on delivery of new fridge today so will fly while I can.

Morning all

The mess I have created sorting crafting stuff is being dealt with, and the stall box is slowly filling up. August cards were posted, some early but the post seems so hit and miss I figured no harm done.

DW emptied. Cats fed, greenhouse watered. I've another week of twice-daily visits to see to SD's house and stuff while he's on his jollies again. 😐️

I've been busy. While waiting for the fridge all of downstairs has been dusted and bathrooms s&sd. Also sorted out three huge bags of stuff for charity shop which I dropped off after my exercise class. Now going to check if washing is dry as we've had some more rain.

A busy day! The shed arrived by 9am but prior to that (6.30!!!!) I'd done some watering and pruning (to clear any shrubs which would have got in the way while we were carrying shed parts to the end of the garden - from the front drive to where the shed is going is just under 200ft).

Most shed parts now at the correct end of the garden. Much reading of instructions and scratching of heads by the men (engineer and artist) until the teacher (me) pointed out that each panel had a code written on it so we could tell which was which. I got the men to put the first panels they wanted painting against the fence and across the walls of the compost heaps so I could paint while they assembled the floor. Mostly it went well; I got 2 coats on 3 panels then the men arranged more for me to paint while they were at camera club. Only hours later did Mr N sheepishly admit that 2 of the panels he'd given me were roof…….which doesn't need painting aagghh.

Anyway following assembly/painting/drinking water/resting out of the sun we're all fairly shattered although I did make an aubergine parmesan using 6 of my baby aubergines. Yum.

Today I have

• taken Rosie to the vet for her annual jabs
• given Rosie various tablets that were all due on the same day - she was perfectly happy to take them in extra treats of ham / chicken / cheese!
• been to Knit & Natter, knitted 4 rows of a baby's jumper and did some nattering
• lent a guide to Croatia to one of the K&N members
• decluttered most of a bag of dried fish (bought for Rosie) which I discovered had started going mouldy; DH then confessed that he had given one piece to Rosie the evening before she got me up at 4am with a gippy tummy
• completed a bank account switch; now waiting for a bonus to land in my new account
• started an "Heir Hunters"-style look-up for friend N who wanted to trace an old uni pal; made quite good progress, so hopefully I can send the info to him tomorrow and then get back to typing up T's family history
• FUPA the tablecloth - washed and dried - which we had used for plating up the gooey cake on Sunday
• checked that the peaches in the utility fridge were still ripening, so that I could leave making the next batch of jam until tomorrow (when I shall be home all day)
• checked that the hoover sticky thing was still standing on the landing, ready to roar into action. It is. 😁

Morning all,

I forgot post yesterday. From memory, flying involved the bathroom, and decluttering involved my hair. I filled the car with petrol, where the cost has gone up yet again. 2 loads were washed and dried, and I have just done HHI to clear the pile. This morning, I have also stripped, washed and hung out the sheets etc, dusted and vacuumed the bedroom. Nothing else of any note, although I mustn’t forget to catch up with last night’s GBSB before I inadvertently read the outcome.

Morning all. So far today I've walked Poppet, done dailies, a work shift and hoovered through.

Well it has been a busy day; two visits to SD's to feed Trigger-the-mis-named-cat and water the greenhouse/raised beds and sneakily add more water to the pond - if anyone asks we have had a positive deluge near here 😉. I haven't completely filled it but it was in danger of drying out and there are fish in there. My mum loved the koi 😥. Plus, of course, adding water from the pipes isn't good, really.

More sorting of stall stuff done, been to the vol. job. Took surplus to requirement jigsaws to the CS and had a little sort of their CDs while I waited for my bags. (Put CDs by the same artist together) and bought one for 30p.

Evening all. Today I have

• made my bed
• FUPA clean laundry that was hanging in the bathroom and the utility
• hoovered all through upstairs
• cleaned the bathroom thoroughly
• wiped the landing windowsill
• hoovered through downstairs
• delegated garden work to J
• made fruit buns for J, but kept some back for us
• made peach jam
• done more research for N
• received £175 "incentive" for having switched current accounts 😀

I was glad that I hadn't dusted the main rooms, as the council roadmenders came to fill in the potholes in the unmetalled lane at the back of the house and in doing so raised a lot of dust - at one point it looked like we were in the middle of a Saharan sandstorm.

Some silly idiot has just let off a couple of fireworks out the back, with 6 and 8 loud bangs; consequently Rosie is now hiding under the sofa and will probably stay there all night 😣

Hello all. Another busy morning here. I've done a work shift, dailies, flung a load of linen as per today's list and listed loads of stuff to sell online. Poppet hasn't been walked yet as I'm waiting for a parcel.
