I would be very very suspicious about any letter on paper purporting to be from Monzo. I've been with them for years and never had a letter about anything. They usually message you and ask you to call them.
Did you ask Monzo if they DO send out this sort of letter?

Looks like a default notice so maybe they legally have to?

I was about to say that but did a bit of research first and it can be sent electronically if the customer has agreed which can be taken as read with an on line only bank. But for this type of communication a proper letter is likely their preferred method as a more trackable format.
Never associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.

I have had an email now confirming I have no accounts or credit cards with them we will wait and see what happens next….
